Hi, I’m Britt.

I'm a Nebraska-based wedding and family photographer, and a Hematology and Oncology nurse. Two careers that have nothing and everything to do with each other. Both have taught me that the moments that matter most are rarely the ones you see coming, and that showing up fully for someone on one of the most important days of their life is something worth taking seriously.

At the end of the day, a photograph is the only tangible thing you have.

The only way to remember exactly how someone looked, what was happening in that moment, and what it felt like to be there.

I look at photos of my husband and I on our wedding day and I'm brought right back. The feelings, the emotions, the details I'd forgotten about until a photograph reminded me they existed. I look at photos of my kids as newborns and I remember the sounds of their cries and coos, and how impossibly small they were. A version of them I'll never be able to hold again in person. It's nostalgic. It's emotional. It's irreplaceable.

That's what I'm creating when I show up for you.

My job is simple: take care of you. From the moment I arrive to the last photo I deliver, I want you to feel completely at ease - free to be present, free to live inside your day without worrying about whether someone got the shot.

The details you spent months choosing, the people who showed up for you, the moments that happened between the planned ones. I see all of it. I will hand you a gallery that looks exactly like your wedding, not a version of it. Yours.

The Milestones Collection exists because I know firsthand how fast it goes. I wanted a way to document families the way I wish someone had documented mine. Consistently, over time, by someone who already knows your faces and how your baby laughs. If that resonates, I'd love to be that person for you.

A little more about me...

Before photography became my full-time creative job, I spent several years as a cardiac ICU nurse, and now in Hematology and Oncology. Those years have taught me the kind of things you learn through experiences: attention to detail, staying calm when plans change, and how to be fully present with someone during one of the most important moments of their life. I carry all of that into every single session.

Outside of photographing someone's most cherished moments, you'll find me on evening walks or family bike rides, making my morning latte at home before the day gets moving, or out in the backyard vegetable garden with my kids. This year we're growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, onions, and attempting our first strawberries and raspberries! My son is particularly invested in the grape tomatoes, and for my daughter, the raspberries.

Lately I've been shooting film for our own family - daily life, small moments, the kind of thing I never want to forget. I use 35mm for everyday moments and medium format film camera when I want something a little more intentional. There's something about receiving film scans that feel like a letter in the mail - nostalgic, unhurried, and completely worth the wait.

"You really created such a calm little bubble around us and helped us navigate the day seamlessly. You were such a positive and bright person leading us through our day in a way that filled it with love and happiness."
