I’m a Nebraska based wedding photographer that craves those timeless and intimate moments. With over two years of experience and shooting over 50 weddings, you can trust I’ll never miss a moment. When I’m not capturing life’s most cherished memories you can usually find me spending time with my husband and son, tending to one of my many houseplants, or sipping an iced latte. I’m here to give you something that’ll bring you right back to the second in which it was captured.
Capturing Cassie and Jerry’s summer engagement session in Downtown Omaha was so much fun. The city’s vibrant energy created the perfect setting for highlighting their unique love story. From stunning venues to scenic trails, each location offered a distinct backdrop that beautifully complemented their personalities and connection. This session was not just about photographs, but about celebrating the essence of their relationship in the heart of Omaha. Let’s dive in!
Our session kicked off at the elegant Farnam Hotel. The sophisticated ambiance provided a stunning backdrop as Cassie and Jerry shared drinks at the luxurious bar. The warm lighting and modern decor set a romantic tone, highlighting their connection. Capturing their playful moments on the staircase was so fun to capture from an artistic point of view! Seeing their love come alive and being able to document in such a beautiful location was magical.
Next, we headed to Downtown Omaha, making our way to The Riverfront. This area offered a refreshing contrast to the hotel’s chic interiors. Cassie and Jerry brought along their adorable dogs, Jackie and Phoebe, adding a lively and personal touch! The greenery and openness of The Riverfront provided ample space for them to relax and have fun, creating candid shots full of joy. They got to run around with their pups and really let their personalities shine!
Finally, the session concluded at the scenic Field Club South Trail. This gorgeous setting allowed for intimate moments, where I captured Cassie and Jerry’s secret handshake! They twirled around savoring the moment, and Jerry couldn’t pass up the opportunity to lift Cassie into the air! As they toasted with champagne amidst the gorgeous surroundings, their laughter and love were infectious. These moments provided a heartwarming end to their Downtown Omaha engagement session.
Throughout the session, the diverse locations of Downtown Omaha brought out different facets of Cassie and Jerry’s relationship. From the elegance of The Farnam Hotel to the natural beauty of the riverfront and trail, each spot added its own charm to their story. Overall, capturing Cassie and Jerry’s Downtown Omaha engagement session was not just about documenting their love, but also about embracing the vibrant spirit of the city. The cityscape and their joyful interaction made for a truly memorable session, setting the perfect stage for their journey together. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them, and stay tuned for their wedding!!!
