The Merry Family’s Journey

I’m SO honored that I’ve had the privilege of photographing the Merry family from even before the beginning of their parenthood journey. I first met Jess and Ty at their wedding where I was their second photographer. I focused on capturing second angles of their day and watching for often-missed moments. About a year after their wedding, Jess and Ty booked the Family Milestone’s Collection and we started planning their sessions. During their maternity session, they were absolutely glowing with excitement. We spent the evening outdoors, capturing belly laughs, tender hugs, and that sweet anticipation of meeting their baby. Their love was effortless and beautiful—something the camera loved just as much as I did!

Meeting Their Little One

Finally, the wait was over and Raegan had arrived! There was so much joy in the air as we gathered again for their newborn session. Their home felt peaceful, cozy, and it was overflowing with love. Raegan was perfectly calm—sleepy, snuggly, and completely at ease throughout the shoot! We captured the tiniest moments like her delicate fingers wrapped around mom’s hand, the way dad gently rocked her in the nursery, and the quiet, tender glances exchanged between the new parents. Each image reflected a home that had grown warmer, fuller, and even more beautiful with the arrival of their little one. It was a time of new beginnings, and the love they shared was evident in every frame!

A Sweet First Birthday

One year later, we celebrated Raegan’s first birthday with a fun, lively outdoor session that perfectly captured the spirit of this growing little one. She was full of curiosity, wide-eyed and fascinated by the bright pink balloons, taking everything in with wonder. Every moment was filled with the sweet innocence of a first birthday—those quiet, thoughtful expressions as they explored the world around them! It was a beautiful way to mark a year of growth, love, and the joy that comes with watching a little one discover new things each day. It was a reminder of how fast time flies, and how special it is to hold onto these fleeting moments!
