I’m a Nebraska based wedding photographer that craves those timeless and intimate moments. With over two years of experience and shooting over 50 weddings, you can trust I’ll never miss a moment. When I’m not capturing life’s most cherished memories you can usually find me spending time with my husband and son, tending to one of my many houseplants, or sipping an iced latte. I’m here to give you something that’ll bring you right back to the second in which it was captured.
Some couples just fit. Jack and Faith are truly one of those couples! Their Omaha engagement session felt like watching a romantic film unfold in real life—ice cream, golden hour light, open fields, and all the sweet in-between moments. I’m so excited to share their story and their Omaha field engagement photos at golden hour, because this one was truly something special!

Jack and Faith’s story started in college during their junior year. They met at a campus ministry meeting and quickly realized they were in the same Bible study group. They often ended up playing cards together, even though Jack didn’t exactly know the rules. Faith gave him a hard time for it, but it became a fun, easy connection between them. They didn’t talk much at first, but after winter break everything changed. All her close friends had just gotten married, and one of the few single friends suggested they study at the student union. When Faith got there, she saw Jack and sat down to chat while waiting. A month later, Jack and Faith were officially dating!

Faith knew a proposal was coming, but Jack still managed to surprise her. He didn’t take her ring shopping, but she somehow just knew he had picked the one. Around that time, his family came into town and plans started shifting. They took a day trip to Yankton, South Dakota for a picnic. Faith had a feeling it might happen, but nothing did—at least not yet. On the drive home, she kept asking questions, and once they arrived Jack told her he had a surprise.
He brought her outside to a pergola he helped build with her dad. Twinkle lights were strung above, and there in that quiet space he finally knelt down and asked her to marry him! After she said YES, their families showed up to celebrate! It was deeply heartfelt, thoughtful, and so completely them.

Finally, for their engagement session we chose a quiet field in Omaha. It had wide-open skies, soft wind, and golden grass swaying around them. Jack and Faith brought their favorite ice cream to share along with custom engraved spoons! It was such a fun, personal touch. They laughed, fed each other bites of cookies and cream, and settled into the moment like it was second nature. As golden hour set in, everything just glowed. They ran through the field, held hands, spun in circles, and wrapped up in a cozy blanket to close out the day. They didn’t need posing, they were simply themselves! Playful, affectionate, full of love.

Overall, this session was a perfect reflection of who they are. Genuine. Joyful. Unafraid to be silly and present in the moment. From the very first frame to the last, their energy never faded. They were completely at ease with one another, and it made for such a beautiful session. It’s an absolute honor to capture love like this! These Omaha field engagement photos at golden hour are a reminder of what really matters—connection, joy, and stories worth remembering.
