I’m a Nebraska-based wedding photographer who lives for the in-between moments. The exhale after the vows. The look across the room. The detaisl that were made with love and almost missed. I've photographed over 100 weddings across Nebraska and beyond, and I show up to every single one ready to capture it all. When I'm not documenting life's most important moments, you can find me with my family, my houseplants, and an iced latte in hand.
Taylor and Seth dreamed of a romantic elopement in Italy, but they also wanted to share their joy with family. They chose to have an intimate ceremony at the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln, Nebraska, surrounded by the people who matter most, before setting off to elope in Italy.
In the Nebraska State Capitol’s courtyard garden, Seth’s father officiated their ceremony, and the words he spoke over them carried the kind of weight that only a parent can bring to a moment like that. There were laughs. There were happy tears. By the end, everyone standing in the garden felt it – the fullness of what Taylor and Seth had built together.
Once the celebration ended, the couple prepared for Italy. An elopement in a romantic setting awaited them. But their hearts were fuller after sharing this special day with loved ones.
This beautiful, intimate ceremony at the Nebraska State Capitol showed that love can be both grand and simple. It reminded us that family is often at the heart of our most cherished moments. Whether in Nebraska or Italy, love keeps us connected, wherever we go.
