I’m a Nebraska based wedding photographer that craves those timeless and intimate moments. With over two years of experience and shooting over 50 weddings, you can trust I’ll never miss a moment. When I’m not capturing life’s most cherished memories you can usually find me spending time with my husband and son, tending to one of my many houseplants, or sipping an iced latte. I’m here to give you something that’ll bring you right back to the second in which it was captured.
Hannah and Zane’s Omaha fall engagement session was perfect from beginning to end! We started their session at an area nearby with their dog and then headed to Lauritzen Gardens for a greenhouse vibe. We ended their session at Standing Bear Lake where we got the most beautiful sunset!
Have you ever met two people and you just knew they were meant to be together? That’s how I felt when I met Hannah and Zane. The way Zane looked at Hannah throughout their engagement session made my heart melt!
I arrived early to their house to meet their fur baby, Ghost before we headed to a nearby park. He is the most handsome Australian Shepard I think I’ve ever seen! I think you’ll agree, but have a look for yourself!
Fun Fact: Ghost is deaf so it was tricky trying to get him interested in looking at me for photos. Even though it was a little bit of a challenge, he did SO good!
Next we headed across Omaha to Lauritzen Gardens for some unique photos in the conservatory. We had some extra time so Hannah and Zane walked me through the gardens to the Arboretum where we saw a few stunning trees with yellow leaves! If you’ve never been, you should definitely check it out! The conservatory is filled with gorgeous tropical plants and vibrant flowers that make for the perfect backdrop.
Hannah wanted to end their engagement session with sunset portraits at Standing Bear Lake, a place they frequently go. We chose a beautiful open field to watch the sun set behind the trees while giggling the evening away. While we waited for the sun to set we played with the harsh sunlight and really created some beautiful images.
While we waited for the sun to get lower Hannah and Zane changed into something more dressy. This is a great way to add variety to your engagement session gallery!
I am beyond excited for Hannah and Zane’s wedding in July at Lilac Hill!
