Photographing Jessi and Ben’s Roca Ridge Events wedding day was an absolute joy from start to finish! Their story began in 2020 when they met on Hinge. It didn’t take long to see why they’re perfect for each other! When Jessi and Ben first reached out to me, we hopped on a video call to get acquainted. They weren’t even officially engaged yet, but Jessi knew that the proposal was coming sooner rather than later. And they wanted to be prepared! We dived right into wedding planning and, let me tell you, their excitement was infectious.

Personalized Touches

Jessi and Ben infused their wedding day with so many thoughtful, personal details that truly made the day their own. Jessi’s sleeves blew me away—they were custom-made to complement Ian Munsick’s song “Long Haul.” Just imagine having a piece of attire designed for a tune that speaks to your journey together! And Ben? He rocked cufflinks engraved with “JR” for Jessi Rice. It’s those kinds of little touches that make my heart sing as a photographer. Each detail added another layer of meaning and emotion to the day.

Capturing Their Love

One conversation stuck with me deeply. I asked them what they wanted to remember about their relationship twenty years from now, and Jessi’s response melted my heart. She talked about wanting to always remember the new and exciting love they share right now and how dedicated they are to each other. She knew their love would evolve, but capturing those fresh, exhilarating feelings was crucial for her. Knowing this, I focused on those genuine moments of laughter and the sheer joy they exuded all day long. Now, when Jessi and Ben look back at their wedding photos, they’ll be able to relive those incredible emotions all over again!
